Forest Glamping Project – Southern France | Eco-Resort Acquisition & Development

Strategic takeover of a former naturist campsite and transformation into a 10-hectare eco-glamping domain in Southern France.

Alma Lab led the full repositioning and development of the site, redefining its identity around a nature-driven, immersive and authentic glamping concept set within a cedar forest. The project covered concept creation, brand positioning, domain DNA, guest experience design, storytelling and overall site atmosphere, aligning the asset with the growing demand for sustainable, experience-based tourism.

Site Planning, Construction & Integration

We designed and supervised the transformation of the existing campsite:

  • land analysis and accommodation layout respecting the natural landscape,

  • construction of 15 safari tents and 10 fully equipped wooden cabins,

  • minimalist and coherent site design,

  • creation of an outdoor food concept focused on grilled fish and meats,

  • development of a local-product grocery and bar.

A low-impact, nature-integrated development, balancing environmental respect with guest comfort and operational efficiency.

Operations & Launch Support

Comprehensive operational support included:

  • domain organization and guest flow optimization,

  • sourcing of equipment, furniture and local suppliers,

  • definition of hospitality standards,

  • implementation of operational processes,

  • opening support and ramp-up strategy.

This project demonstrates our 360° expertise in nature-based hospitality investments: acquisition, concept development, construction, operational structuring and the launch of sustainable, scalable glamping assets with strong long-term value potential.
